Los Angeles has fault lines running under businesses, hotels, and homes in District 33. Mexico and Japan both have functioning earthquake early warning systems. The California legislature has approved such a warning system on the condition, among others, that it be a private/public partnership. The bids to construct such a system are high and the government has yet to determine how to contribute its share of the cost and/or work. If elected I promise to find ways to make the system a reality.
